Situated at 28 Caen Street, Braunton, a modern new opticians practice is providing friendly, professional eyecare for the North Devon area.

Shore Sight Opticians were established in July 2008 by two optometrists looking to provide a great service to all members of the community, with top of the line examination equipment and a range of frames to appeal to all ages - all in a welcoming, relaxed atmosphere.

The owners, Kevin Roberts and Mark Hales, are both fully qualified, experienced optometrists who have joined forces in their vision of opening 'the kind of practice they'd like to visit'. Between them, Mark and Kevin have played a part in all aspects of optics; whether in busy city high street settings or smaller independent practices, their years of experience have helped shape the service that Shore Sight provide.

"We wanted to be able to provide a professional, high-quality eyecare service, but without sacrificing a friendly, genuine relationship with our patients," says Kevin, "I think we've more than achieved that - our new equipment has made advising our customers a smooth, comfortable process, and so far everyone's left with a smile on their faces!"

Since opening in 2008, a successful first couple of years meant that the practice was able to relocate to its spacious new home. The new, larger practice allows ample room for comfortable browsing and gives an open, relaxed atmosphere. To enable as many people as possible to make use of their facilities, the practice has disabled access, as well as nearby parking.
